Inside-attic fan termination dumps bathroom moisture directly onto framing and sheathing on every use cycle. Proper rerouting requires insulated flex duct (prevents in-duct condensation), sealed connection at fan housing, and correctly sized exterior cap. Uninsulated duct, inadequate sealing, or undersized cap all partially defeat the purpose.
